What is the cancellation policy?If an appointment is cancelled/rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee may apply. Cancellation fee is the full session rate.

How can I reschedule an appointment?To reschedule an appointment, please contact our office via phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred new time.

Do you accept insurance?We do not offer direct billing. Each insurance plan is different; please check the coverage you have with your insurance provider. Most insurance providers cover counselling sessions with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).

What are the accepted forms of payment?We accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards, e-transfers. Payment is typically required at the time of service.

How can I get my receipt of payment?Receipt is automatically sent to your email address after a payment has been made. If you have not received one, please check your spam folder, or email us on info@journeytogether.ca or call us on 672-667-0203 (during office hours).

How do I schedule my first free consult?To schedule your first free consult, click here to visit our calendar and book an appointment. Alternatively, you can call our office, send us an email, or submit the form on the website. What should I expect during the free consult?During your first session, your counsellor will get to know you, discuss your goals and collaborate with you to develop a plan. It is also an opportunity for you to share your concerns and ask any questions you may have. You can also book your first full session with the counsellor.

What is the modality used in Journey Together?Our counsellors have experience working in a wide range of areas including trauma, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship, emotional regulation etc. using approaches that best fit you. Our counsellors are trained in ACT, DBT, EFT, CBT, Solution-Focused therapy, etc. Irrespective of the modality or approach, you will find a safe space, free of any judgment where you can be yourself.
